ahaaa!! I got it right this time, thanx for the clarification
One more thing, I have the "Activate Notes" set to
"Ctrl+Alt+Space". Whenever I do this combination, the current screen
is dimmed with nothing shown. I can't click on anything (as if it's a
transparent grey full screen window overlayed)
When I do the combination again, the dimming disappears.
I expected "Activate Notes" to show the main window of OrangeNotes,
am I right!?
Thanks for the report, korayem. This is actually how it's supposed to behave
as far as the ClipKeys hotkey is concerned, because this one (unlike the other
hotkeys above it) is actually only recording the modifiers you hold, and the
final key is ignored (this is because it's designed to work with the 0-1 keys).
I could make that a bit more obvious, but space is not being treated as an
'accept' key--you can use the keystroke recorder to record any key sequence at
all (even escape).
You mentioned that you wanted to change the Ctrl+Space hotkey... this is by
default assigned to "Show console". If you hit the keyboard icon
beside that hotkey it should allow you to type Ctrl+Win+Space just fine (I
verified this on mine).
I want to change the hotkey CTRL+SPACE to CTRL+WIN+SPACE because I use
CTRL+SPACE alot in visual studio and other apps as "autocomplete"
I went to options -> "HotKeys" -> "ClipKeys" I
clicked on the small keyboard Icon
A modal window asked me for the combination. I firmly pressed and hold the
CTRL, then WIN and as soon as I touch SPACE, the window closes registering the
new combination as CTRL + WIN only
I guess hitting SPACE is attributed to the "OK" action of the modal
window
Suggestions:
-Have a separate "reset" button on the "HotKeys"
window. I don't want to click on "reset all" because I want to keep
the rest of the settings
-Even when it changed from "CTRL+SPACE" to "CTRL+WIN"
the small toolbar icon status window still shows the hotkey as
"CTRL+SPACE" and it worked! i.e. hitting "CTRL+WIN" did
nothing!
Can somebody running XP tell me if the new about screen (Other
commands->About OrangeNote) plays music? This works great for me on Vista but
when I test it on XP under a virtual machine, it won't play.
Ok guys build 26 is out and includes a fancy about screen presentation--be
sure to check it out! :) Also is a new experimental feature that allows you to
show a balloon popup in the system tray for every piece of text you cut or copy
(disabled by default). Clicking the balloon opens the note for
editing/tagging/hotkeying, etc.
I'd also like to welcome aboard Danny Ko as my VP of Finance in charge of
marketing and getting OrangeNote out there!
@korayem, I got the reports and should have them fixed soon.
@nitro, that's a bummer. As far as I know I'm not doing anything overly
complex in the installer. You can try downloading the zip archive and running
the executable directly (nothing technically needs to be installed) from http://orangenote.littlesoftware.ca/downloads/OrangeNote.zip
I'd just like to inform you that OrangeNote doesn't install on Windows 7,
Windows Installer crashes (I can not tell whose fault it is, but nevertheless),
thus I am unable to install it.

Good to hear!
@chaaiguy1337 - doing well :). I'm happy.
@chaiguy1337: downloading v1.0.0.24...
@korayem: Should be fixed now, sorry bout that.

Whenever I launch I get that "Oops!" message. I am running version 1.0.0.24 on Windows Vista Home Premium 64.
When I choose "Ignore and continue" the program runs (i created a note using CTRL+WIN+V) however, it hanged again with that "Oops!" message.
I submitted the report btw
If it happens again be sure to tell me. Also what (if anything) you happened to be doing in OrangeNote before it happened.
I think it was just my PC or something idk, it was still very strange.
