Hmm, that sounds strange, but I'd be surprised if OrangeNote had anything to
do with it, at least the downloading instead of opening. Frankly there's no way
OrangeNote could be interfering in that manner that I can imagine. Nevertheless
I'll keep it in mind in case anything like that ever crops up again.
Could be my computer but, when it was on it was like, causing my Firefox to
go nuts, I click a link and it was dling them as HTML files and typing opened a
bunch of like stuff in firefox itself.
Hey mate I think I found a bug, I shall research more into it for more info.
Idk what happened but it was active and it would not let me type in firefox at
all. Lemme keep testing it before actually Confirming it :)
Hey folks, I'm working on a web site for OrangeNote and am looking for a few
user quotes, so if you have anything nice to say about the app, now's the time!
Be honest!
Well it's meant really to just sit there until you need it, and work in the
background (it doesn't use much RAM when inactive). It just gives you a single
place to throw all your text clippings and keep them indexed and organized
without requiring any upkeep like files do (i.e. you don't HAVE to give a note a
title, or tags, and you can still find them just by searching).
That said, there are a lot of handy features like hotkeys that make working
with it so much faster, if you find yourself using it for a lot of things (like
pasting the same thing over and over). Just assign a particular note a global
hotkey and paste it into any program with the stroke of a key, and I find the
clipboard history really handy.
Oh it's pretty simple really. In .NET you can tell if the app was shut down
by the user, or by the system (i.e. system shutdown). If it detects that it was
a system shutdown, it adds the startup info to the registry. Then the next time
OrangeNote starts up it just clears the registry setting!
Ahhh ok I see thanks :P
My OS does that normally with open windows and such like folders you leave
them open and it'll boot up and re open those pretty nifty feature I must say
:P
Actually I thought I was pretty clever on that front--if OrangeNote is
running when your computer shuts down, it will launch again on boot-up. If you
don't want it to run at boot, just make sure it isn't running when you
shutdown.
Ooo me too is there any option to get Orangenote not to start up when windows
does? I was lookin in options I couldn't see it, so I just used msconfig.

Pls do. That sounds like a pretty bad one. Any other info that might help address it would also be appreciated.

Well Idk I'm just a noob with it lol, but I do like it.
I like it, honest I'm just not to sure on how to use all of it like a true user, once I'll get like what it officially does then I'm set :D

Is it a line of code that does this or? I'm interested as to how it was done cuz its pretty neat
Thanks :)
