I've posted an update (1.0.0.8) that fixes a few bugs and cut-to-note and
copy-to-note are now working. Just highlight some text and press Ctrl+Win+C (or
X) and you will create a new note based on the selected text, without altering
the clipboard!
There's still an issue with new notes not being immediately searchable.
Working on that now.

looks interesting, except it crashes when i load it on my Dell (Vista SP1)
1.0.0.9 is available, which now indexes new notes as soon as the note window is closed, making them findable right away.
Existing users should be able to update automatically using the program's auto-update feature.

Whoops, the latest build had a bug that would prevent it from running on systems it hasn't been run on before. Will fix that ASAP!!
