I can't live without it! One of the best social networks around and it's
pretty much the only one I use for keeping in touch with my friends and also
searching for music.
Orkutting is one of the most common activity that we all Indian like to do
while browsing on net. Well, we all open our account in Orkut, which is a kind
of fashion now a days.
But Facebook will always remain better than orkut. No Doubt.
No matter how facebook and twitter grows, Orkut will always be bigger in
Brazil. Great for gossips! The communities lost their meaning but still, great
to laugh at the themes. Addicting.
Most popular Social Network in Brazil. It doesn't have that much features and
it often bugs. The photo upload is totally messed up. Lots of unoriginal content
and illiterate persons, too.
It's a good tool if you're brazilian, though. Everyone uses it and it's
the only way (around here) to get in touch with people you haven't seen for
years. I've avoided using it for years but now I find it very useful; I got to
know family members I didn't even know I was related to and to trade messages
with friends lost long time ago. I guess that's the app's main intention.
Seems somewhat cleaner than Facebook, but hasn't gained the popularity needed
to actually compete with it. Give it time, advertising, and very good
applications to work within it and I think it could give Facebook a run for its
money.
Seems very under-rated. :|

Orkut is the most famous social network in Brazil, even more than Facebook.
It's the brazilian's favorite. Everybody's got one.
Nice and clean UI.
I've been doing too much cyberstalking.

Orkut is a free-access social networking service. But not as good as Facebook.
All we need is a nice makeover (current interface sucks) and bunch of good apps, only then Orkut can compete with Facebook.
