This is a great value for the price considering the cost of Office. I'm able to do everything that I've tried so I'm happy with it. To crank out relatively simple docs it's really simple to use so you can be highly productive right away. Compared to Word though I'm still trying to figure out how to do more advanced page layouts. I find the image handling and text flow a bit quirky but it works.

Simple but sophisticated. An excellent piece of software. Versatile and ubiquitous. Kills word in speed and price.

When I used Word, Mariner Write etc, I was frustrated because their structure was terrible and the image system was horrid. Used Pages, BAM! Perfection. Can't live without it.

Really nice. I have it running in the background and don't notice any drain on resources.

My favorite word processing application. A great interface, easy to learn and use, and it can even open Microsoft Word files, when needed.

The only problem I have with it is that it does not yet have support for Furigana.

I'm still widely torn between Pages and MS Word. Trying to use as much of Pages as possible and have to say, am not missing Word at all. Seem to be able to find all of the features that I want, even if some things do take a little bit of searching!

it's cheap, its easy to use, complete crap as a word processor, but it's great for lazy page layout!

Incredible application but has a steep learning curve for most people.
