For what I need Pages is great. (Note: for what I need) I create highly
graphical documents and Pages is the best tool I have found for this task. It
offers both the flexibility and ease of use that makes working on this documents
a pleasure. I had to help someone the other day make a newsletter with Microsoft
word and it drove me crazy!!!!! For someone like me who is not a professional
Pages just simply works.
A really refreshing feeling after using MS Office for so long.. very stable
and decent uncluttered interface.. the only problem that it still lacks some of
the key features.. for example: no option to add captions to a table or pics..
Some minor improvements will make it the best word processor for
MacOS
I love the Pages result, documents so beatutiful only with the templates that
comes with default package, but I must confess that there some simple features
you can find in Word, Writter etc like tables caption that is not supported.
It is a really nice tool but still need improvements to support more
features.
I've always worked with MS Office but after another crash I decided it was
time to move on. I found Pages and I love working with it. Not only doesn't it
change the document layout randomly, like MS office sometimes did, it has an
easy to use layout. I write all my stories in Pages and just love the full
screen function, it's a good way to stop being distracted and focus on my
writing. The only negative I have to add is that I have to save the file in a
different format when my friends need to open the file but other than that it's
a great word processor.
I have just created a new resume last weekend with Pages. It rocks, it really
is. I have so many choices of templates and I just have to pick one, that
easy!
it's cheap, its easy to use, complete crap as a word processor, but it's great for lazy page layout!
Incredible application but has a steep learning curve for most people.
Simply the best word processing app around.

my thesis companion...
Easy, like every apple product.
Worse than LaTeX. Much worse. It's fine for people that don't know any better though.
Much better then Microsoft Office. Very easy interface compared to Office as well.
Much, much better then Microsoft Office products for Mac. Easy in use and powerful word processor.

Much better and faster than MS Word. You also have a bigger choise for templates e.g.
That's Apple!
