A good Replacement for MS Paint..., Could be better.
Quick, small, fast, simple UI.
Paint.Net is good for simply editing photos thats the only reason I use it just to edit my digital pics. For everything else i use GIMP. :]
A superb, graphics editor with some nice plugins. Its no Gimp, but I see potential.
Good image editor. Not so functional as Adobe Photoshop but much more useful than standard Windows Paint.

Paint.NET is great for simple things like screenshots. It's lighter weight than Photoshop so I often use it for screencapping and zooming in to check out details of user interfaces I'm working on. I still use Photoshop for the real work, though.

This is great for getting basic image manipulation done. I use it when I don't want to fire up Gimp, and think the job is too simple for Paint Tool SAI.
This programs got some solid plugins if you look around, and since I don't need the lumbering giant that is Photoshop for my work, this does the job for me. Great program, and definitely should be the standard program in Windows 7, replacing paint. It's easy enough for a caveman, so why not?
A great photoshop alternative! Its good for people who find photoshop or similar programs hard to use but is also powerful enough for experienced photo editors!

A true Paint replacement. Not only does orders of magnitude more than Paint, makes doing anything you could do with Paint even easier. A must download for Windows.
Why the hell this doesn't get shipped to replace the standard crappy Paint is anyones guess...
