Good program for digital drawing and works nicely with a tablet pen. Its smooth line capabilities make this software even more great. You can also save in PSD so you can also work with it in Adobe Photoshop.

Perfect for sketching and drawings, as well as finished works. When it comes to digital painting this definitely outperforms Photoshop, especially with it's blending and dilution functions.

Godly inking tools. Maybe not as advance of PS but it does it's job.

Love this program. It's my favorite program to use for inking artwork; the pen tool is just absolutely fabulous. Other than that, it has a nice and simple interface that's really convenient once you know where everything is. Other than the inking, it has a bunch of other standard things. Not as advanced as Adobe Photoshop in some areas, but definitely a must try.

SAI is really good for painting. It gives you nice soft colours, and is easy to blend. But it dosen't have as much tools or features as photoshop. So basicly I mainly use it for pure paintings with not serious line arts

A great tool for painting and drawing. Not as feature-rich as Photoshop, but it has everything you need for working on drawings and paintings, has great tablet input support, and it's light on the resources.

While not as pliable in the brushes it has as Photoshop, SAI is an excellent program to draw with. It produces amazing lineart and is very easy to use, while not hogging up 90% of your system's memory. I've hardly opened Photoshop since I bought this program!

The best paint tool for lineart, period. The stablizer feature helps you get a smooth and natural line from your tablet input. Though not as much feature-heavy as other image softwares, but the program's very light and just right for ordinary digital illustration works.

Powerfull and light weight drawing software. it is also very cheap compared to it's competitors. I highly recommend it for anyone interested in drawing and computer graphics.
