Pandora is an excellent site that will only play the type of music you like.
You can make 100 stations, each one tailored to the style of music you want it
to play. You can like, dislike a song. You can ban a song from playing from
station, but add it to another station. And lots more.
Pandora is awesome. I've been using it for a couple years now and I still
listen to all of my radio stations (even as my tastes have changed) because I
can mould them to sound however I like.
Over the years, the features have increased but the performance has taken a
dive. It used to be a seamless transition from song to song, but nowadays it
takes almost twenty seconds. Also, the desktop version is not free, but it does
come without adds so...
I love this. I enter one artist, and it plays songs from different artists,
but with similar styles. It's better than having to play my imeem playlist over
and over, which did get boring.
With Pandora, I not only get to listen to songs that are my taste, but I get
to discover new ones, too.
I use Pandora on my iPhone. They have created a very stable and speedy app.
But while I'm on my computer I always lean towards my Last.FM account which has
many more features and is overall a much smarter program.
I have discovered so many new artists through this program. Sometimes I have
some very different tastes in music and Pandora has helped me discover groups
that play the music I am looking for.
It has some limitations that seem to indicate the music libary is not all
that robust, or it is in the algorithm that chooses music based on song
ratings.
I am liking it very much. Learns very quickly what song I like on each play
list. I now have a play list that is very well refined to the songs I like and
is introducing new songs I am liking.

Unfortunately, Pandora stream only within the USA (вещает только на США!).
Without Pandora, I would probably end up being far less productive.

Fantastic website. I don't know what I would do without it.
I was gutted when they went US only. Shame there isn't a pay for option or something similar to what last.fm is enforcing.
Easy to use - no thinking/fiddling required,select a playlist and go - Response time is great and I don't notice any delays.
I have only used the application through the iPhone, but on my home 802.11 network. I have not tried Pandora while driving/commuting...
