Working on both, Parallels and VMWare Fusion since quite a while I definitely prefer Parallels since it is fast, reliable and feature rich. The new Version 5 automatically 'hibernates' the VM if it's not in use and integrates perfectly with the new Crystal mode. For the OS X aficionados there's even a 'Mac Look' feature, that substitutes Windows captions by the more familiar OS X style.
Works great, helped me use Windows-only apps for school on my Mac.

Since school programma's doesn't excists on MAC, I had to use Parallels.
Though I ain't complaining, it gets the job done... running XP on a MacBook :D
Despues de evaluar varias opciones en virtualización para OSX, me he quedado con Parallels Dektop como principal plataforma, ya que su desempeño y caracteristicas me parecen más que adecuadas por su precio. Como usuario avanzado y desarrollador utilizo aplicaciones que son exclusivas para Windows y es muy comodo poder utilizarlas, lado a lado con las aplicaciones de OSX, sin tener que reiniciar el equipo para utiliar Windows (a travez de BootCamp). Para que no tengas contratiempos procura tener mucha memoria en tu equipo, cuando menos 2GB. También utilizo VMWare Fusion, pero de él hablaré en otro momento.
The ultimate piece of crap created by Parallels. Not only does it not work it leaves a ghost image of a file on my hard drive every time I open up that overrated App. up. Every where I look the ghost file appears. But I'm a Ghost Buster and now that bitch is dead... Parallels is all right but VMware fusion is better. The Parallels updater can eat a dick.. Doesn't work..

as a web developer and mac user I need to make sure that the sites I work on look good on IE browsers. Parallels is a great virtualization software package, I can access my Windows partition (and apps) while running Mac OS X.
