A necessary evil.
The idea was great. The implementation was, however, not so great. They have awful support, will freeze your account, have some of the highest fees in e-commerce, and on top of all that they are not a bank. But everyone uses it so I do too.
Paypal support is absolutely horrible, but it's the easiest way to pay on the net.

I use Paypal for Goozex and eBay. Excellent money transferring service.
A very secure payment method. The fact that it is part of Ebay doesn't mean it is underdeveloped or Ebay-oriented. So great job!
Never had issues with PayPal, regardless of what I read countless times. I recommend it as it's available for many online-purchases!
But as I live in the EU, I don't get many sweet features the US gets. Like the Virtual Credit Card # linked to your PayPal Ballance.
C'mon PayPal, we need it just as much as the US! ;/
