Free & works perfectly.
best Converter for Mp4 to Avi
Works well, can convert nearly anything I've thrown at it. The bad part is that some files it creates end up looking weird in Windows Movie Maker, though I'm sure that's more of a WMM problem.
Interface might seem a bit odd for users, as it pops out a command line interface, but otherwise very good on performance.
