This PDF editor is more powerful than Preview on the Mac, but the interface is not very polished and it may be a little expensive for what it is. But if you need to perform minor modifications on PDF documents, this could be the software for you. And I should add it also OCRs PDF documents, which is a great feature. Comes in standard and pro versions.
