THE MPAA I have downloaded a whole lot of stuff off of P2P networks and Bit
Torrent and I have never received one of those copyright infringement letters
from my ISP in 5 1/2 years and I honestly believe it is because PG and
Protowall which I also use. Whenever I am running PG when I use P2P or bit
torrent It ends up blocking a lot of IP's I imagine some asshats working for
RIAA and MPAA are behind some of those blocked IP's They try to be sneaky and
use Bogon IANA reserved IP's so they can not be traced but I block all the bogon
IANA IP's so they're not getting in. Anyways a blocklist is only good if you
update it frequently and I update mine every day.
Http filtering is useful for blocking ads and spyware. Make shure it is
enabled. When you cant reach a site you can disable it but that didnt happen in
my case.

A very good utility to help you fight off the RIAA/MPAAA snoops. Be carefull of the logging features of PG - it can fill up your HD !!!.

Quite a good app, but it'd be nice if it had Vista support, as I'm otherwise stuck with vista on this laptop.
Peerguardian is the best select IP blocked I know of.
TBH PeerGuardian is great n all but the problem is that it does not work with Vista :(
Along with a firewall, it's nice to have.
