phpDesigner is a great program with great features. If you're looking for a PHP IDE then I suggest this one. It has a great UI and great features, the FTP isn't very good but I can deal without it.

Kills the deal without proper remote folder over SFTP. Not all of us develop local. I will switch from phpEd if this program ads mapping of a local directory to a remote directory over SFTP and where I can bind CTRL+SHIFT+U and CTRL+SHIFT+D for Upload and Download while CTRL+S is save to local.

Really great application :)
For years I did' not find a better alternative to Zend Studio, until I "discovered" phpDesigner. It's very fast, has all the features of Zend Studio (if not more) and this at a fraction of the price. Highly recommended!
