The 6th most popular puzzle game on Windows
… More EditPortal is a single-player first-person action/puzzle video game developed by the Valve Corporation. The game was released in the bundle package The Orange Box.
The game consists primarily of a series of puzzles that must be solved by teleporting the player's character and other simple objects using the Aperture Science Handheld Portal Device ("Portal Gun" for short), a unit that can create an inter-spatial portal between flat planes. The player character is challenged by an AI named "GLaDOS" to complete each puzzle in the "Aperture Science Enrichment Center" using the Portal Gun with the promise of receiving cake when all the puzzles are completed. The unusual physics allowed by the portal gun are the emphasis of this game, and is an extension of a similar portal concept in Narbacular Drop; many of the team from the DigiPen Institute of Technology that worked on Narbacular Drop were hired by Valve for the creation of Portal.

best game of Puzzle+FPS
One of the most fantastic games I ever played. It's a puzzle, yet with lots of action and plot is really amazing. It perfectly fits into the existing HL universe. Must play!
Very innovative gameplay. Portal 2 should be released in 2010.
Really cool, puzzle your way out of levels in first person. Creators of this game added some humour to it too, which makes it extra funny to play.
The Wakoopa is a lie
A nice game.
THE CAKE IS A LIE.
A Brilliant Game that is part of the Orange Box, Portal has so much potential and such an interesting air about it that few gamers who are into FPS's or Puzzle games will feel a need to put down the keyboard and mouse until you've transported your way past every corridor, through every live fire exercise, and cuddled with the Companion cube. It's worth every penny, and a very interesting game for what it's worth.
Good fun, sadly limited potential.
Beat this game in a couple of days, but definitely worth playing again. P.S. The cake is a lie!
IM SORRY COMPANION CUBE I MISS YOU!!!
mind bending puzzles
Never cared about the cake too much knowing it may have bacteria from other people.
The cake is a lie.
This is a great game, I've played through at least a dozen times. It's worth whatever price you pay, even though being short, it seems like each time you play it's different. Also, there a lot of original internet meme's in this, such as "The cake is a lie".
