Don't really understand why any Gmail user would want to use a desktop
client. Also don't really understand why people use other mail services (eg
Hotmail, Yahoo - are you nuts?).
So, the perfect mail client for me would be if Gmail added Digsby-like IM
& social networking functionality (as opposed to running an IM client with
only rudimentary mail support).
