Postbox is a really fast IMAP client. The attachments tab is a nice way to
find attachments quickly without searching through all your messages to find the
email the file was attached to. Still in beta, still some things I hope will
improve, but a really nice application overall. Developer is active and listens
to feedback.
postbox is a great app, a lot more efficient than mac-os-mail (which stalls
with big mailboxes as mine), with lot of innovative features ao. perfect way of
arranging threads and attachments; if you don't like the way gmail arranges
threads, but still want a fast and efficient way to retrieve attachments
throughout the thread (not purely organised by subject!) this is the app you
need. way underrated. perfect with Imap Gmail!
Postbox is nice, but isnt ready to take on Thunderbird yet in my opinion. For
one, it has some severe performance issues on my iMac, where if I have it
running for a certain time it either simply freezes, or sometimes even takes up
all the resources of my iMac. The interface is nice though.
I had been using Postbox for about a month and a half now in hopes that it
would replace Thunderbird for me. I loved the extra features it had. The tabs,
being able to have a sidebar that held any links/media (so I didn't ahve to read
through the email) but lately I've been having issues I just can't stand.
For some reason it'll duplicate unread emails, and then it'll start opening
a new email dating Dec/1969, and even when I delete it, they'll keep
replicating. I haven't submitted a bug report for it, but it was annoying enough
that I went back to Thunderbird until the beta is complete.
It is a wonderful application. It is morph of thunderbird with useful addons included. Great new UI and features...
Looks very interesting, but still not completely the mac-feel.
As far as email clients go i think it beats the rest hands down. Would highly recommend it. Great interface. Polished in every sense.
A must download.
Better than Thunderbird! Promise.
One interesting feature is the possibility to set your feeds. So you can read them right beside your incoming emails.
First email client I really like. All it needs is a calender for appointments and meetings.
Powerful email client with amazing features..
good threading support and good integration with gmail..
However lacks addon support (as of now) and can sometimes perform underwhelmingly

Better than thunderbird, but still not as good as mail
Awesome tool with lot of nice features (promote, inspector, etc.)
