A mysterious new application
pSX emulator (more commonly referred to as pSX) is a PlayStation emulator for the Microsoft Windows and Linux operating systems. Its first public Windows version (1.0) was released on January 29, 2006, and the first official Linux port (1.11) was released on February 24, 2007. pSX is freeware, available for download. pSX doesn't use plugins to emulate the GPU, SPU and CD drive functions of the PlayStation. So much nicer to use than ePSXe, low hassle, runs well on my aging laptop, runs most games surprisingly well and has yet to crash on me.
It's perfect for running my old FF discs which my actual Playstation refuses to run.
just awsome haven't found a game yet that it won't play
The only Playstation emulator that actually works on my Linux box...
Excelente emulador para PS.
Damned good emu. I've so far found it far superior to ePSXe.
Best PS1 emulator.. can run any PS1 game smooth and full..no plug in needed either..
