Who could live without Putty? The latest releases added support for Serial interfaces.... this was a big improvement. No more Hyperterminal!

This terminal emulator is configurable and useful - it contains Telnet, SSH, Rlogin and serial clients. I use it to work remotely from home. PortableApps.com says, "You can place it on your USB flash drive, iPod, portable hard drive or a CD and use it on any computer, without leaving any personal information behind." After entering an IP address once, you can associate it with a name to avoid entering the address string upon future logins. Free and opensource. There are ports to Unix and Symbian, and will soon be ported to Mac OS X.
