Introducing Pyro 1.7
Campfire is a great, web-based, business group chat service. It’s superior to IM in many ways, but we thought it could be even better on a Mac! Introducing Pyro:
Your Campfire chats in a dedicated application, with the number of unread messages on the Dock icon, in Growl and on the Campfire tab bar. Drag and drop file upload. Accelerated room switching. AppleScript support. Pyro for Mac OS X 10.4 does all that, and is completely free, so download yours now!
Pyro 1.7 is here! (13 May 2008)
Bug fixes for Safari/Webkit 3.0 and later:- Searching no longer crashes Pyro
- Leaving a room no longer crashes Pyro
- Next/Previous Room functionality works again
- Worked around a server-side change that had disabled the sound on/off toggle in Pyro
- Other minor bugs and memory management issues fixed
- Quick Access to recent chats in File menu
- Pyro no longer opens multiple windows to the same Campfire chat
- Loading a room can sometimes result in a white blank page. Reloading (Cmd-R) helps

clutter to the Campfire interface.
Want some site-specific goodness with that?
Pyro demonstrates a new breed of applications we call site-specific browsers—apps that are about making a browser-based application better with client-side technology while keeping the user interface intact. If you are interested in a site-specific browser for your application, please write us at info@karppinen.fi.
