This is really a great idea. I can either live stream something, or just keep a copy of an exceptionally long video here.

Just discovered Qik and have been having a ball recording random moments which no one else will care about via my mobile phone.
I currently don't have any real use for it other than having fun with the kids and cats but it will probably come in very handy this fall when my husband will be away on business for a couple of months. Not only will we be able to make videos for him, but, thanks to the live option, bring him along with us.

Great for streaming live video from mobiles phone. Would prefer a little more privacy control than just private or public. I reckon it will only get better as data speeds improve.

Just checked out Qik and was shocked by the porn on the front page. I thought it was a fluke and that Qik would be canceling someone's account soon... except that, in the next click, I "stumbled" on more, and, ran into more as I was trying to back out. Not my top pick!!

Live video streaming (and saved to your online account) to the internet from your mobile phone. Amazing piece of software put to excellent use... Users can even subscribe to feeds, podcast style, using iTunes and similar programs. Perhaps slightly limited by hardware and network limitations, but still infinitely useful.
Highly recommended if it's suitable for your device.
