this software is a little bit confusing for the first time and little bit annoyed because it is very 'active'.
i wouldn't recommend this software if you are not comfortable with alerts.

Installed the latest english beta version dated dec-3 2009 to give it a try. But it blocked all functionality as soon as the ICS sidepanel loaded. And no way to disable the sidepanel. It loads if you want it or not. And then QQ blocks, nothing anymore. Some issues with adding friends etc as well. Even if approved, they dont show up. And impossible to send a bug report, because that feature also doesnot work. Finally I removed it from the computer. Also on Iphone many bugs and issues. Also had to delete from the Iphone.Chinese versions apparently work correct as I see with others.
不得不用，我覺得qq的傳文件功能使得同學都忘記了還有郵箱的存在，我是比較喜歡用郵箱傳的，避免了以後要找找不到的尷尬 ╮(￣▽￣")╭

其实论界面啊、使用感啊，QQ还是非常强的，就是用它的脑残比较多。现在QQ做的太臃肿，希望简洁一点。
QQ has a lot of features that I don't need. I can not even turn those features off when installing it.
总学别人的，但是中国人必不可缺的聊天工具，中国人可以没有 msn ，可以没有 gtalk 但就是不能没有 qq ……
