The 2nd most popular desktop publishing tool on Mac OS X

QuarkXPress is primarily used by large publishing houses to produce the kinds of complex page layouts required by magazines, newspapers, catalogs, and similar printed materials. It is one of two products (the other being Adobe InDesign) that dominate that market space. Edit

Quark was my basic. But with joy I switched to Indesign 1.1 many years ago. Sorry Quark. You just blew it when we needed you. Now a happy Indesign-user.

Quark you've dropped the ball, you need to match Adobe's price to claw back your market, it all looks and feels familiar, but I just don't have the tie or inclination to really pick it back up again

Used it for the last 10 years (3.3-8.0.2) but finally switched to InDesign. Thank God! ID it's so much better. Sorry, Quark! Too little, too late.

Expensive, outdated and not as good as inDesign. Will cause you less problems when you come to print though. inDesign will win in the end I feel. Sorry Quark!
