The 14th most popular messenger on Linux
Quassel is a modern, cross-platform, distributed IRC client, meaning that one (or multiple) client(s) can attach to and detach from this central core. It's much like the popular combination of screen and a text-based IRC client such as WeeChat or irssi, but graphical.

I like Quassel a lot so far. It's great that it runs a client/sever environment, if desired.
What it needs most is a few good theme plug-ins.
Definitely the best IRC client out there for KDE right now. And like the previous poster said, has room to grow.
PS - How any user can rate an open-source app less than 5-stars in the "Price / value" rating is beyond me. :)
It has a typical feature set for an IRC client, though could do with a few more little things.
The performance is good in general usage, but joining large channels can be problematic as can /list.
It is still a young program, with room to grow.
It looks good, but I could never get it connect to anything, it just refused.
Oh well
The interface needs a little work, and it sometimes suffers some minor performance problems. Otherwise a great program!
