I prefer Startup Control Panel on http://www.mlin.net/StartupCPL.shtml
Not really sure how, but Wakoopa is reporting Quick Startup as one of my newly run apps, but I've never heard of it before. I use StartupRun (http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/strun.html) for my startup config needs.

Download.com Editor's review of Quick Startup
This simple utility is basically a gussied-up version of the Startup tab in Windows' MSConfig utility. Like its Windows counterpart, Quick Startup lets you control which programs launch on Windows start-up. The straightforward interface displays a list of programs that run when you fire up your PC. By clicking the check box next to each item, you can quickly enable or disable any process from launching. That's about all this little tool can do. Quick Startup links to the Windows Scheduled Tasks and Local Services tools, but it can't control them directly. It can't even advise you whether to delete or keep a start-up entry. Extreme technophobes might get some use out of Quick Startup (it is free), but most people in the know will do just as well with MSConfig.
