Don't know how I feel about Quicktime X yet since it lacks a lot of the
features I get on my Quicktime Pro 7. Guess I'll have to give it some time
before formulating a more solid opinion. I do like the ability to record direct
into Quicktime though which you get now.
QuickTime is the almost best player under Mac OS X, but it doesn’t have
native support for some media formats such as MKV, and QT 3rd-party components,
that must provide this support, doesn’t have the GPU accelerated video decoding.
The X version have possibilities to convert and share videos, and record
screencasts.
Decent media player, although it is somewhat lacking in support for different
media file formats. It is also a little bloated and the most useful features
aren't available in the free version. I'm personally sticking with V.L.C. and
Media Player Classic.
QuickTime X has been my default media player ever since Snow Leopard, I haven't used VLC since... I love it.
Don't like it I rather use winamp or VLC, Quicktime is not my cup-a-tea

Reproductor para .mov
You will need to get Pro for this to get the most out of it, I use it to create timelapse videos and also to listen to .mp3 and .mp4 files.

IMO it's too much slow ... and it has an ugly interface
Congrats on Apple for creating the worst looking icon on my dock. Ugh.
Not bad, use it at times...
It should combine with perian. - http://perian.org/
I love this on my Mac, but quicktime sucks so much on Windows.
