i use RealVNC every day to log in to my computer from everywhere around the world. it's great except that the mac "Command" button ends up screwing things up.

that's true.... but whe are on v.4.3.2 right now so the security breach is fixed along time ago by now
Decent remote access service. Had a gaping security hole in v4.1.1 that allowed complete access to the PC without password, fixed in 4.1.2.
