i just use it to download and convert flash videos
(win32)
Not one of the best players, but I'd rather use than download a whole new program since I'm on a mac and use this plus quicktime loaded with a bunch of plugins.
only use it to easily download flv files.... [mac os x]
RealPlayer tried to take over my PC, back when I was using Win 98. What gives??
useless and bogus thing on the face of the earth...huh!
microsft should buy realmedia and merge it with windows media player so it gonna be best :)
Unlike it's sibling for Windows, which happens to share a tiny amount of source code, and the same brand, the Linux version is worlds apart. It's a lightweight, unobtrusive player that works well for those times when you just need to play an MP3 or Ogg Vorbis file "right now".
Sadly, UTF-8 ID3 tag support seems broken (renders as garbage), and MPEG-4 audio playback doesn't always work, which lowers the Performance score a little, although it's solid all-round, otherwise.
Useless overbloated app, since i use klite, or even vlc. Sucks! Is the easiest way to play .rm file on the mac btw...
Love the flash download feature but will never use it as my main player
Would it be possible to add the realplay.bin executable to this, so that we don't have to do a load of arcane hacks to shell scripts and symbolic links to get RealPlayer for Linux tracked?
Under Linux, this is "realplay", and having renamed the old "realplay" entry to "realplayer", I believe that the usage information should appear here, and the Linux icon should also appear. Any ideas?
Sometimes i use it..oftentimes i dont D;
on MacOs I use it daily best than quicktime player
Buffering...
I like the high compressing file format, but not the player, i use k-lite mega code pack as an alternative, and download feature from flash is never quite helpful, however there are many firefox addin that will do the job.
not my primary player. just use it to download videos and to play real media formats.
