Nothing short of amazing. Knocks Windows Media Player to the curb
My favorite player on Linux.
Good.
Nice little media player for Linux. When I've used it, it wasn't the speediest thing out there. A bit of lag when changing songs for some odd reason. For free, though, I can't complain.
Ok, but not great. Can't scan multiple, non-hierarchical music directories, UI is average w/ limited preferences/options.
Light, simple, inexpensive.
BUT lacks of features found in Amarok
For the podcast follow-up, I am not able to have it as a background automatic task for instance...
Perfect for a casual user because of its simplicity
Too simple for an advanced user who needs more features.
I don't understand why many people thik that Rhythmbox is the best. It's good player no more. Banshee, Amarok, Songbird is more powerfull.
Excellent music media player for Linux!
Great box for managing some rhythms ....
Good media player, but doesn't have everything other players (like iTunes, or even Songbird) have to offer. I use it whenever I'm in Ubuntu, but it still really disappoints me that there's no cover art view of selecting albums to play. You're stuck with a list. Which, in reality, is like using iTunes with less features and one third of the views...your third being the less effective one. : P
But all in all it's good enough to not be annoying, and it runs really well!
In my opinion, the best music player
It's free and open source. I wish I could skin it and it had controls for its system tray mode. Otherwise, it's great for my old computer.
