Minimal features, maximum performance. Tabs, line numbers, syntax
highlighting for pretty much every language and regex based search-and-replace
is all I need. It also allows you to tweak just about every part of the
editor.
I use it for AutoIt scripts and it's great. Simple enough not to confuse you
with settings, yet has nice features like syntax highlighting and debug
output.
I absolutely love SciTE. Lightweight, quick, and easy-to-use. While it might
not be the most featureful editor out there, it's certainly MUCH better than the
colossal monster that is Visual Studio when it comes to dealing with simple,
quick PHP/HTML work, and I use it exclusively when writing Lua and XML code for
WoW addons.
Simple, lightweight, but powerful. Maybe it is the best source code editor! I really love it =)
I'm using SciTE for AutoIt. It just rocks! You can compare its simplicity to google. Clean looks, small features and great utility!

Lightweight, useful, powerful and simplistic. I love this editor. It comes in really handy when I'm programming in Ruby.
On windows this is my favorite editor.
