Screen Sharing could do with a few more features. There used to be some
hidden features that could be enabled via Terminal but Apple took them out,
which was a shame because I used to use them a lot. That being said, Screen
Sharing does the job nicely, it beats getting up and walking from one side of
the house to the other and back again multiple times. The interface is simple
but it could be more immersive. I'd like to be able to change the volume on the
shared Mac with the volume keys on my keyboard and the only way of switching
applications on the shared Mac is to use the Dock, which doesn't work well over
a network. Performance is pretty good, of course that mostly depends on what
network you're using. Price, Screen Sharing is included with Leopard so
effectively, it's free.
