A great interesting work, still in progress. You can find there all the kind of people you can imagine, with the most different interests, communities such as universities and enterprises are using this world as a showcase or a support for their real business, for educational purposes and not only. It's part a game to have fun with, part a way to have job opportunities. Well.. many other things to say about. For those who are curious, come join this experience, good or bad it could be for you, it's still something that need to be experienced :)

Such a awesome game. You don't just create your own character. You meet new people. Hang out with friends. Get a jobs. Go to clubs. Go for sexual intercourse, someone told me lol Takes a while to get used to the controls and stuff if you are new at it :0 :)
I find Second Life an interesting virtual world and I still like its potential - a space for creativity, interaction, collaboration, and education.
I've yet to play this, it looks alright but I find it will be like many of the other online games; annoying. Though it's best to try something at least once before making judgement.
I find Second Life quite impressive, once you get over the badly rendered graphics / awful sounds and numerous other things and realise that behind each avatar there is a real person that you can properly interact with.. it makes this game so much better!
I loathe games like this. In my opinion, it's just sad to sit at a computer, and role-play as a character for hours on end. Honestly, it's not healthy.
