sadly i forgot my password.i cant install any programs.anyone can help me up?
So I can type in my password. Stops me killing my alarm easily though.
Type in your password please!
I used it.
I still ponder why this is considered a program it is something you use in the background.
This shouldn't show up as a used program. This is an operating system function. On Mac, every time you have to type in the System Admin Username and Password (coming back from screensaver, installing a program, restarting a XAMPP server, etc) this is the background process that makes the little popup appear.
yeah, what is this ?and what exactly does it do..
what do I need to have it running for? can someone get back to me on this ?
e to use
I guess I used this when installing an application?
root privleges is uncool - if so - we need to be sure!
new mac guy here, i take it this was something used to run a program with root privileges?
