Works very well! Interface can be polished..

This is now my Twitter app of choice, my only main issue I have with it is that it is based upon Adobe Air. It is like a weird cross bread between TweetDeck and Nambu. I would suggest to the developer on working on a better way to add people to groups, however this offence is forgivable!

I think there could be a better way to populate user lists, like tweetdeck. Choose from a list of followers, maybe.

I'd like to see it get friendfeed and seesmic integration back. I would also like to see them minimize the left toolbar. Dropped Tweetdeck in a heartbeat.

This is the best twitter application I've used so far. I never thought I would give up my Tweetdeck but Seesmic has taken over. Just like Tweetdeck you can have multiple columns and groups. However, Seesmic also allows you to manage multiple twitter accounts as well as your facebook accounts.

It's still in beta so there are still some glitches and missing options but it's already my favorite twitter app regardless of it's current shortcomings.

well, its a good start. user grouping is awesome. UI needs some work. some things are not intuitive right now (only v.2), or missing completely. little high on the memory usage, but thats common with AIR apps it seems. its got a long way to go right now, but shows lots of promise.

@Luke Addison it works for me on windows 7 RC but I still prefer tweetdeck. a more compact design that let me fit more twitter search in one screen

Grouping, or as they call it "User Lists" are good and being able to drag and drop them are a nice improvement over other clients. It is also nice to see a multiple account client for twitter. Unfortunately they are all just filters of the main feed. Also they main feed cannot be filtered.

For example lets say I create a userlist for the posters that are Heavy Posters. I can't then go to the main feed and remove those posters from showing up.

The interface is ugly, the sounds included are annoying, and more than once I had it crash due to bugs.

Speaking of bugs though, this is in its early days and we will likely see more funcionality and features (not to mention stability) in the future. For now I will stick with Tweetdeck, that although it will only let you use one account at a time, it does everything else Seesmic does and much more right now.

Just a quick update to my previous short review. I've just upgraded my PC to Windows 7 x64 RC (7100) and reinstalled Seesmic Desktop. Unfortunately I can't get it to run anymore. I can't blame the software because I am running a pre-release OS at the moment and Seesmic Desktop is also pre-release.
