A dumbed down and poor copy of LibraryThing. If you care more about a flashy interface than actual features, you'll love it. Otherwise, use LibraryThing. It's also owned by Amazon, which may or may not matter to you.
I also just started using it today and I'm hooked! Now, THIS is the kind of site for book-lovers that I wanted to use all along.
The shelf is my favorite feature of the whole site. The community part looks pretty good and easy to use too. Adding books was a breeze compared to other "book sites". They just need to improve on the site's speed as well as make corrections on their catalog. Some of their "book pages" are messed up like you can't tell if the page is really for the first book or the third book of the series. Other than those issues, this is already an excellent site and this might just make me leave Goodreads for good. :(

As the site name says it all, I love the shelf. Looks awesome! The only complaint I have is that adding books is getting out of hand and loading is a slowpoke. Oh, I'm the most active user. Haha!
I absolutely love this website, the quality of the interface is amazing, it does have a couple of quirks. If you have a slow connection it can load slower than other websites, but it makes up for it with the great graphics.
It's a great idea, but the interface is a little clunky, and it always seemed to load/update the page slowly. I'd rather use Goodreads instead. It has a cleaner, faster, easier to use interface.
A very good book sharing & commenting web site.
I love the whole idea of this, and have been using it since 2007. If only there was one like it for CDs too. :p
At par with GoodReads. Shelfari has nicer graphics though.
This site actually impressed me. It's better than GoodReads.com IMO
