Shrink-o-Matic is quite handy in batch processing of images, with a cool interface and decent performance.

Although there are other software that give somewhat better performance, but Shrink-o-matic is very convenient to use and most importantly, Free!

Handy little AIR app. Great for resizing/compressing images for web use. :)

Can compress many image formats, but not as good as other apps, like pngout, which can reduce a further 20-30% typically. One the best features here is the batch mode, but smush.it boasts batch mode as well, along with much better compression ratios.
