SimCity 2000 (SC2K) is a simulation/city building computer game and the second installment in the SimCity series of games.
This installment introduced isometric graphics, more than one piece of music, and the newspaper, which morphed into the ticker for SC3K. It also introduced arcos, and cities looked more realistic.

SC4, SC3K, or SCS have NOTHING on this classic.
Like any Sim game, I spent hours and hours building my cities. And then I let loose the disasters, be it firestorm, volcano, flood, mass riots, turning my city into chaos. Great memories and great cities with this game.
What a complete classic. It still holds up as a great game to this day, though it definitely shows its age in the graphics and such. Not only was building the city fun, but then there were the disasters, and funny newspaper articles. Everything together just made this a great game.
