Amazing city simulation game. The series has always been a success (except for SC Societies), and Electronic Arts should make some kind of SimCity 5.
Pretty poor performance, especially when your city grows larger.
SimCity 2000 was better.

I started playing SimCity when SimCity 2000 came out. SimCity 4, the most current generation, has to be one of the greatest simulation games ever made. It's amazing that a game made in 2003 has held up so well. If you have a newer computer with a good processor and graphics, this game will keep you entertained.

I am a Sims fan and love The Sims 2 and have been playing 'sim' games since SimTower, SimAnts and SimCity. SimCity for the Mac has had such low support that most bugs are never fixed. I was able to play this game for a limited time due to constant freezes and crashes.
And it is even worse now that I have a faster processor. The game did not have so many problems until I switched from PPC to Intel and now the game is virtually unplayable with no patches since January 29, 2004.
Great Simulation game. I'm playing Simcity when the 1st version came out.
