a nice free web counter
Great way to keep track of your websites.
I use Site Meter on my blog. It indicates where the person who came to your site is, the browser used, how long they stayed, page views, and other bits of information. Gives you a great sense of your audience. The timing of visits does not always seem accurate, too many visits of zero time. That is the only negative that I can think of. It does not seem intrusive, tho it may be a little slow to load.
