… More EditSlickr is an open-source screensaver for Windows that uses photos from a Flickr user, group, tag, or even from your local drive.
After installing, to use Slickr, you must obtain an application key here: http://www.flickr.com/services/api/keys/.
Then go to the Control Panel, Display, Slickr, Settings, Key tab and paste the key and the secret into the specified fields.
This hasn't been worked on in a long while, and isn't actively supported; but hopefully by giving out all the source you can hack on it or take what you want from it.

Great screensaver to watch all the pretty photos of Flickr, thank you! :)
It would be nice to be able to use the sorting by interestingness more: not only for everyone's photos, but also when displaying photos from a group, a tag, etc.
This is how the site "Flickr Hive Mind" works, and it's very useful to watch photos sorted by interestingness, eg:
