Its a nice program, but I don't think it defrags in the back ground very well. I also don't think it defrags the best. I think JKdefrag or the windows one (for best boot times, I think) work better. Especially JKdefrag.
It does its job and it does it well.
JKDefrag is indeed lighter on system resources than SD, but I still prefer SmartDefrag.
Its user interface is more friendly and it features more options than JKdefrag.

It's better than Windows Defrag.. Nice soft :)
Maybe not as good as some of the other defraggers out there, but is the first on my netbook (Asus 1000H) that works without bringing it to a grinding halt.
This one's great, and a lot better than standard windows defrag. I see a lot of people saying JKDefrag is good as well, so i'll give that one a try too.
Same with BSWE1987 and ogre. Tried SD for a while, and initially satisfied with it. Few hours after that, tried JkDefrag and I got even more satisfied!
much better than windows defrag will have to give JKDefrag a try and see how it compares.
