I adore this player. It plays everything I need it to and especially MKV files. I also enjoy the audio and subtitles menus right in front of you. I hate looking for the menus in the tools and whereever else, this is so much more convinient :)

Great Interface/GUI. Uses MPlayer for the engine, a popular media player. Plays many different types of files including DVDs. Performance on my machine wasn't very good though. Videos that play fine in other players were choppy and lagged. Although it is one of the nicer looking players and the interface is friendly, I'd recommend GOM, Media Player Classic, or VLC instead.

Way better than VLC if you ask me.
Bug free and better default settings.

It's main strength is that it uses the MPlayer engine, so it can play virtually any media file, although I think VLC can play more.

    Overall:

It's lightweight, not so intuitive, sometimes images while playing a DVD seem awkward. But it does what it is supposed to, without compromising your RAM.
