Nice and flashy, but at times becomes choppy.
I think this RSS reader saves me ample time as I dont have to keep myself glued to it. I just keep it active in the background and have a look if there's something interesting once in a while. Its method of displaying feeds is rather unique and adds some live action to your desktop. Love it.
Shopped around for RSS readers, I picked Snackr for it's unique way of displaying each feed. I have some issues when using the dock (OS X) with Snackr minimized. I love the news ticker feel.
You can't call it the best RSS reader, because its not designed to be used to read RSS feeds, it does however do a mighty fine job of keeping you posted with snippets of all your new items from your RSS feeds. Sync's wonderfully with Google Reader, which is what I love... in face it was after I opened this program up and had some problems entering some feeds that I tried switching to google Reader and then syncing the feeds back to snackr.
I have noticed quite a few feeds don't get read properly by Snackr, but I'm sure they will improve over time. Definitely works nicely though
