one of my top 10 apps. Been using it since it first launched in 1991. Highly recommend...

I can not think of any other program that can capture a whole frame or window that exceeds the height of your computers resolution. Very high selling point feature.

I use this app everyday, very helpful for folks who need to use/gather screenshots in their work. I love the Ribbon UI.

I also use it to quickly create simple graphics or rapidly prototype changes to existing UIs. I know there are other tools out there that are far more powerful but for quick edits or to cut/copy ui elements and re-arrange them it's rather easy and painless to see what what it would "look" like.

A secondary use for the program, I grab screens and point out the obvious when troubleshooting things via e-mail and communicating with less technical folks (management/hr/endusers/et al).

I'm very impressed with this program. I plan on actually PAYING for it when the trial runs out. Easy to use, lots of options, and seems to work whenever I want it to.

A very good time saver.Very useful screenshot application that allows to set the input to many different settings, allowing for flexibility. Once you taken a screen shot, you are given choices to do whatever you want with it, without having to save to a file. You could send an email, you could print, etc... Very nice application, I use it a lot at work, i would buy for home if it was a little cheaper, but still give you what you paid for when you need on a regular basis.

    Capture

If you can see it, you can snag it...

Don't waste time cropping your captures. Snag exactly what you need, with just a click.

Profiles make it easy. Snagit comes with eleven preset buttons that make screen capture a cinch! Capture a region of your screen, text from a window, the contents of a tall page that scrolls, all the images on a Web page, you get the idea.

Custom suits you. Don't feel limited by the eleven profiles—create your own combinations for nearly unlimited capture possibilites. What's that? You want to set up a keystroke that captures a menu along with the mouse pointer...adds a drop shadow...and sends the image directly to your Wordpress.com blog? Sure, no problem!

This is an excellent program which just keeps getting better with each release.
