Snipping Tool is an application included in premium editions of Windows Vista and Experience Pack for Windows XP Tablet PC Edition 2005. The program is a screen-capture tool that allows taking screenshots (called snips) of windows, rectangular areas, or a free-form area. Snips can then be annotated, saved (as an image file or HTML page), or e-mailed.
