In order to sort your playlist by other criteria, you must go to preferences / format and add | between each of the sections. The columns will be sortable.
cool and lightweight music player.. minimalistic..
but i still like mpc
Nice MPD client. The user interface is very simple and intuitive: the main functionality is ordered in tabs.
Sonata also has a fresh icon design and automatically downloads the album art quickly.
Sonata is lighweight and works very responsively, but sometimes startup takes a bit longer.
The best lightweight player, glad I switched to this from Amorak.
It does almost everything I want from a player.
It's small and fast and handles huge libraries thanks to MPD.
I wish I could get it to organise the library by AlbumArtist or Album as well as just Artist and I wish I could get repeat to be on by default. Maybe this is possible but there is no support forum so I've no idea.
Best player for me!
