Rock Solid Encoding with a lot of very useful features.
It can crash and it can be slow just when you don't need it to be and it doesnt estimate time well.
Needs some network processing or even a dedicated machine sometimes if you are doing massive batch conversion. Could also use some in program guides to aspect ratios and encoding options.
I use it though, but for serious bulk conversion just jump over to a dedicated linux machine and use FFMPEG for free.
great easy to use application, but why paying money for an application like this, when you can use Any Video Converter for free (with the same functionality)?
I've been running it on Vista for 2 years and it works great for me. both 32-bit and 64-bit Vista. Very easy to use. Drag-and-drop compression settings and video files to job window and press go. Does a great job, lots of formats, fast, support for multi-cores (except for flash encoding for some reason)
it's great for converting video files, but it has a lot of crashes when running on Windows Vista. Needs improvement.
