The URL bbc.co.uk is the brand name and home for the BBC's UK online service. It is a large network of websites including such high profile sites as BBC News and Sport, the on demand video and radio services co-branded BBC iPlayer, the pre-school site Cbeebies, and learning services such as Bitesize.

As with more traditional fields of broadcasting, the BBC remains a front runner. Providing quality product free of the pop ups and flashing banners so prevalent on the sites of other broadcasters and news services.
iPlayer, one of the best internet apps out there.
Well, for us Brits, any way ;)
I mainly use it for news and TV listings.
I mainly use the BBC News site. Nice site to go to.
Good historical articles.
BBC FTW!
one of the top websites worthy of deep exploration , you can have things playing in the backgrund as you surf, a window on the british sense of humour, they try so hard, however be ware that political stuff creeps in without you hardly noticing it,remember the british have the biggest and best spy network ever 007 not a myth check out gchq the brown paper parcel is in the third bin on the right....
BBC - Excellent service from a world class broadcaster.
The BCC had epic cover of the elections last night, didn't go down. A stunning service
Best broadcasting site ever!!
bbc.co.uk is just the main site for the bbc, and has a lot of different components in it. I use it entirely for BBC News, but it shows up here, as SoundIndex.
Are you sure this is indexed correctly? The BBC SoundIndex is here - http://www.bbc.co.uk/switch/soundindex/ - but it's now closed anyway (the beta testing period ended).
Clicking on the "more" link for the Wakoopa BBC SoundIndex entry takes you... to bbc.co.uk/ - so should it be reclassified as just something like "BBC Online"?
Cheers
