The 55th most popular email client on Windows
… More EditAnti-spam application which has a pretty good set of rules to intercept spam. Not for the absolute uneducated though: you have to inform your email-client to connect to the local server (127.0.0.1:110, which is Spamweed) and supply pop-server in the userid-field. I check all email except gmail with it. I don't use white/blacklist, a virus could send from a friends account or the sender could be fake.

Good value for money... keeps 98 percent of spam out, the rest can be moved from Legitimate to Junkmail with a click. I rarely get a false positive. When recognized as spam, it will not be downloaded from the server.
It is second best to Gmail, which has THE best spamfilter. I use Spamweed for all other pop3-accounts.
The only drawback: you have to tell your email client to connect to localhost (127.0.0.1) and supply the pop server name in the userid field. But that is only once per new email account.....
